I am so excited to share my first Kootenay family photo shoot! I am so in love with everything about this session - the location, the colours, and most of all the family its self!

Haylee had been wanting photos done in the buttercup fields for the longest time. Once we were situated in our new home she wasted no time in asking me to come out to her families gorgeous property just outside of Fruitvale. The goal was to shoot in the sea of yellow before it was all gone and we were just on time! We spent the later part of the afternoon frolicking through the field and playing in the wood. This session was all about fun and that's exactly what we had.

I am so incredibly happy with the end results from that afternoon. It has been such a pleasure watching Haylee and George grow together as a couple and expand their family. During a family session, I typically try and sneak in a couple shots of just mom and dad without the kids and this session was no exception. I am so glad we were able to capture just the two of them together. Little did I know, their wedding anniversary was only three days away. These two haven't skipped a beat. The love they share today shines even brighter than it did on their wedding day eight years ago.
