Liddicoat Family | Cap & Gown + Family Session | Peachland B.C. | West Kootenay Family Photographer

All occasions deserve to be celebrated and documented in some way shape or form. Whether you have a party, go on a holiday, out for a nice dinner, or hire a photographer, something needs to be done to commemorate the special event. I was thrilled when a good friend of mine, Christina asked if I would be interested to help document her success of graduating from college. Not only did she want to capture this pivotal moment in her life, she also wanted to document her growing family as well as her late father in-laws old Ford pickup truck her husband Lorne had been restoring with his mother.

We spent the early part of the evening in Peachland capturing success, love, and family. Christina recently posted on Instagram.

“I had people imply I was selfish for going back to school, I’ve had others say I’d never get a job, or that a degree was useless. But along the way I had supporters! I truly found myself at college. Today, I am in business meetings, committees, and an active participant in the community. I always dreamt of getting my degree, and this is one of my proudest accomplishments.”

I am so inspired and incredibly proud of this beautiful young woman, and I am so happy I was able to be a small part in this exciting time for her and her family.
